About this class
In this 11-day intensive series, you will learn several combinations in Belly Dance and Latin Fusion that will prepare you for the first section of a Spanish-influenced dance choreography coming up to the Online Studio in 2023. We will then follow it with Part 2 (release date TBA)!
You'll need a full circle skirt (25-yard preferable) to practice some fun skirt work.
This is a more advanced intermediate class and assumes previous belly dance and Latin styles experience. But don't sweat! You have plenty of resources in the studio to help you, including a Latin-Arabic Fusion series for beginners.
How to participate
- First you need to join the BDL Online Studio's Sparkle Tier.
- The LAF Intensive starts on 01/02/23 with the release of Class 1 in the Online Studio.
- A new class will be released every 2 days.
- On 1/11 there will be an In-Person class at a local studio in the evening (6:15-7:30 pm, give or take). This class is optional (see below).
- On 1/12 there will be an Online class via Zoom with Cris! for all participants (5:00 pm - 6:15 pm, if East coast attendees participate. Otherwise class might start later).
- Students will have access to this class for as long as they are a Sparkle member.

In-Person Class (optional)
- This class is only for Sparkle members who are participating in the Intensive.
- 1h 15m Class will be on Wednesday 1/11/23, in the evening, in the Santa Barbara area (time and location TBA soon).
- You can sign up for class safely via Zelle or credit card/Apple Pay/Google Pay.
